This is my Dubai Travel Itinerary and Review: Atlantis Dubai and Hell's Kitchen.
We had our last day of the huge buffet breakfast and decided to head down to the pool before checkout. We checked into the Atlantis Dubai Resort, still out on The Palm Jumeirah.
The Atlantis Dubai Resort is positively huge and absolutely busy. We upgraded to a club room to help avoid the crowds.
The aquarium is super cool. Afternoon tea was extremely busy. They are very diligent about checking room cards to ensure it’s only club access members.
We passed the Lebanese restaurant and Lex asked why there was a lesbian restaurant.
Dinner at Gordon Ramsay’s Hell’s Kitchen tonight. I think GR is awesome and was so looking forward to this meal. For one, the restaurant is located in Caesars Palace which is on a newer island. Because of that it’s empty. There were three tables occupied inside. I didn’t expect to see GR but he was here for the grand opening a few days ago. I was hopeful there’d be a Chef from the show. Nope.
I ordered the scallops with a pea purée
which were really good. Lex and Ed had the Lobster Risotto, I sampled, and it was very good too. I opted for filet mignon, Annicakes had pizza, and Ed and Lex had beef Wellington. Everyone liked their meal except me. It was ok I just wasn’t overly impressed with it.
So we’re ready to leave and I really wanted a picture in front of the Hell's Kitchen fire sign. It’s only turned on for special occasions. I was so let down.
